Hellenistic period by the Pergamene King Attalos II (159-138 BC). it was then mled by the Romans, Byzantines, Anatolian Seljuks, Hamidoğulları and the Ottomans, respectively. However, on a tour, those two groups should be visited togelher according lo the planned tour route. it is difficult to think of history and

As for the historical buildings and ruins in the city center, it is better to visit Antalya Museum before starting a tour of these because most of the works displayed in the museum are from the ancient cities. City walls, Hıdırlık Kulesi, Hadrian Kapısı, Cumanun Kilise Camii, Yivli Minare (the Fluted Minaret) structures, Kaleiçi and the Yacht Harbour are other cultural sites which should not be missed.Beldibi, Karain Mağarası, Termessos, Evdir Han, Perge, Köprülü Kanyon and Aspendos are other sites of interest near Antalya
