This bay lies in the North of Köyceğiz Limanı and in the Northeast of Kızılburun and is surrounded by Karaçay Burnu and Liman Burnu and by mountains and forests. During night approaches, you can use Delik Ada lighthouse (Fl(2)5s8M) and the lighthouse on Karaçay Burnu (F15s5M). The bay can be entered easily.
Ekincik Koyu is one of the most beautiful places you will come across during the Blue Voyage. Along the shore, you can anchor in any place where you see motorboats or in the inlet opposite the lighthouse if you can find a place. it gives both safe and suitable anchorage.

Ekincik koyu is the best place for leaving your yacht to go to Caunos. You can reach Caunos by motorboat from Ekincik Koyu because the mouth of Dalyan stream off Delik Ada is too shallow for the yachts to pass.
