When approaching from thc Eastern or Western side of Göcek Adası, thc buildings surrounding Göcek Koyu can easily be identified.
The two quays in the center are thc majör mooring placcs in the bay. Betwccn these two quays, çare is needed while anchoring. it gives good shelter. The second mooring place is the L-shaped quay Northwest of Göcek
town. Here the depth is 2-4 m outside and 2-3 m inside the quay. it gives good shelter from the wind. The Göcek town quay between thc L-shaped Iltur quay and the two quays in the center can also be used as a marina. it is possible to approach as indicated in the quay. Büngüş Marina is on thc Northwest corner of the bay. The entrance can easily be identified by the old, black Bosphorus fcrry moored off

the marina. Yachts moor where shown and a charge is made at these four mooring places. Besides these, it is also possible to anchor in 3-10 m in the North of the bay or off the small covc in the South of the two quays in the center.
For charter boats and yachts, Göcck is the most famous center in Fethiye Körfezi. Being elose to Dalaman Airport (1/2 hour) inereases its importance. Göcek is a town rich in tourist facilities.
İndice is a bay, surrounded hy forests, in the East of Göcek, just behind Bal Burnu.
