cokertme provides good shelter from winds blowing from the West towards the North and the East. It has a long shore with island pine and olive trees on it. Water needs can be met from a domed cistern.
It is very difficult to see the entrance of the bay from a distance. It is essential to keep away from Karaburun while entering the bay as there are rocky parts on the Southwestern side. The best place to anchor is the Northern coast of the cove in the West. Anchoring is possible in 5-6 m here, with a line ashore. As an alternative, the Western part of the cove in the North can also be used. The bottom is mud, sand and weed.
