This is a natural bay in the South of Gtilluk Korfezi between Mesire Burnu and Saph Burnu. In the Northwestern part of the bay, there are two islands called Buytik Ada and Kuciik Ada. These islands make the Western part of the bay which is in fact open to Northeasterlies, suitable anchorage. However, one should be careful about the 100 m long reef in the West of the bay.
Inside the bay, there are two inlets; one in the West, the other in the
South. The Western inlet is the one which is preferred. It is possible to anchor in the Northwestern corner of the Western inlet or to approach the small fishing harbour which is surrounded by a breakwater.
Ttirkbuku is one of the most important settlements in Bodrum Yanmadasi. There are very nice summer houses, restaurants and a post office around the bay. Many houses have been built there recently.
The unique natural beauties in Turkbiikii are quite attractive both for domestic and for foreign touristis. Pine trees, olive trees and citrus trees add a nice scent to the air. The region is also famous for its fishery. Ttirkbiiku provides a large amount of fish for Bodrum.
