Bencik (Bahkasiran)

Bencik (Bahkasiran)
36°47'N, 28°02'5E
This bay, connecting Datca Yanrnadasi to the mainland, forms the narrowest part with Qati Limani in the North, and it is in the shape of a long, narrow valley extending to the East. When approaching, Disjice Adasi can be seen at the entrance of the bay. When approaching from the Southeast, care is needed of the rocky patch, 1.8 m deep (marked with a buoy). The depth of the bay is suitable for anchoring. It is possible to anchor in 10-12 m at the head of the bay. It offers good shelter from mekem winds, but is open to the South. It is not recommended to enter the elbow shaped area at the end of the bay.
The interesting land formation of red rocks around the bay is worth seeing.
