ingiliz Limani

ingiliz Limani
(Qanak Limani)
36°55'2N, 28^10'E

This bay is inside Degirmen Biikii and about 1 nautical mile West of Sogiit Limani. It is protected from all winds. Anchoring is possible in the middle of the bay, in 6-7 rn. As the bottom is mud, it provides good holding. 80
Ingili7. Limani took its name from the English Torpedo Boats hiding there during World War II. This bay, which seems more like an estuary than a bay, is a really good hiding place.
There are rare trees on the Southern part and pine trees on the hills. It has a lovely

view, and it is well worth seeing. The Western part was burnt a few years ago so new trees have been planted. As in all the other Blue Voyage bays great care should be taken in this region since it is very sensitive to fire.
Being as quiet as a lake, this harbour is a suitable anchorage for yachts. Not even the fish farm or the small restaurant ashore can
disturb the silence here.
Perhaps you will .sail to even more beautiful places after anchoring and meeting some of your needs here, but no place can be more silent and peaceful than ingiliz Limani.
