Bozburun

Bozburun
36°41'4N, 28°02'6E
Bozburun Limani lies in the North, at the end of Bozburun Korfezi. The Southern end of Kizil Ada can be used to approach the bay. Then, Kiseli Ada in the West with the windmill structure on it and the dockyards in the East can be identified. Ye§il Ada in the middle of the bay prevents the buildings of the village from being seen. After passing the island, the village and the breakwater can easily be seen,
There are .several shallow and rocky patches in the bay. Therefore, the most suitable passage into the bay is the channel between Kizd Ada in the Southwest of the harbour and Zeytin Ada in the Southeast of the former island. For night approaches, the entrance to the harbour is lit by FIR and FIG lighthouses. Anchoring is possible either in the quay inside the harbour or just outside the harbour. Tt is an all-round shelter.Although Bozburun is a small fishing town it has become famous for its boat production especially gulei production, in recent years

salarge bay in the East of Bozburun iand Sogiit Adasi. Sogiit village is at the ! of the bay.
e past, there was a .sign on a pine tree ng "This place is the most beautiful place we ever come across during the Blue ngR. Whatever you do, do not let this jty become spoilt." Of course, as the years ed. not only this sign but also the unique of Sogiit got lost. Sogiit also became a merit full of buildings. However, as the rnment has finally prohibited tnjction here, we hope that its beauty will . be spoilt any further.
he Blue Voyagers can anchor in 5 m on Eortheast corner of the bay, on sand and bottom. This place offers a good shelter nm meltem winds.

Another place to visit is the ancient castle remains, situated on top of a hill around the bay.
