KEÇİBÜKÜ

KEÇİBÜKÜ (Orhaniye)
36"45'3N, 28°07'7E
This is a natural bay situated in the East of Hisaronu Korfczi and extending to the South. There is an island called Kale Adasi in the middle of the entrance. There are Byzantium castle remains on (his island. The bay is exposed to the Northerlies and Northwesterlies. The best entrance is from the East because there the water is deep enough. There is a shallow underwater sandy area at the end of the bay in the Northsouth direction.
Anchoring is possible at the West end of the small cove in 6-10 m. The quay at the end of the cove can also be used. As the bottom is mud, it provides good holding. It is an all-round shelter. The front part of the marina can sometimes be affected by wind.
Orhaniye village is at the end of the bay, Due to the wall remains, castle, monastery,

KECIBUKU
lighthouse and mausoleum in this area, Orhaniye and Kizkumu are like open air museums, and they are also under protection.
