Tersane Adası

Lying in the East of Domuz Adası, this island is the largest one of the islands in Fethiye Körfezi, in the Northwestern part of the island is Tersane Koyu, extending towards the inlands and accessible through a deep, 100-m-wide channel. You can anchor everywhere except for the shoal patch, in the East of the bay. The Western corner sheltercd from Northerlies and Southwesterlies, is thc best anchorage. On the island. there are several remains belonging to thc Byzantine period. The island was callcd Tersane Adası as it was used as a shipyard by the Ottoman Navy during World War I.
