Ölüdeniz

Ölüdeniz
36°33'N, 29°06'5E
When approaching from the Southwest, long Belceğiz beach and the tourist facilities behind can be spotted. The Northwest end of this beach forms Ölüdeniz lagoon. Ölüdeniz is a protected area. Anchorage is strictly prohibited in the lagoon.
Anchoring is possible in 15-20 m on the Northern side of the cliff just at the entrance of the lagoon, with a üne ashore. This part gives good shelter from meltem winds.
This place, with its beach and Babadağ behind, has astounding beauty well worth seeing. h is quite crowded in summer. Babadağı, in the North-Northeast of the beach, is an ideal jumping point for the parachutists.
alkan, Kaş, Kekova and Finike are
1 the important harbours and
;i settlements between Patara and
Finike. The region, where Kaş, Kalkan and
Kekova are situated, is one of the most
beautiful places not only in Turkey, but also
in the world. Besides its natural beauty the
historical places also attract tourists. Blue
byagers visit both these regions and also the
ancient settlements in the vicinity.
in the region, starting from Yediburunlar, you arrive at Kalkan limanı after several small bays. Here, the sea is quite clear. As Kalkan nd Kaş are quite mountainous, there are no arge, beautiful forests around the region. However, yacht tourism is quite developed and historical beauty is eyecatching.
The journey between Kaş and Kekova takes approximately 2 hours by yacht which is why several yachts set sail from Kaş Limanı to Kekova every morning. Kekova is quite mountainous, but some flat areas have been turned into agriculture fields. Today no-one lives on Kekova Adası but the historical remains prove that there were önce great civilizations living t here
Demre Kekova are so elose and are easy to go to by sea. But, as the coast of Demre is quite shallow, yachts should not gel too elose. The well-known Noel Baba Kilisesi is also here.
